Designed for creating exceptionally tall western crowns, these 8-inch hat blocks are ideal for dramatic “10-gallon” cowboy hats, oversized open crowns, and other high-crown western styles.
The extra height gives hatters plenty of material to work with when forming deep cattleman creases, tall teardrops, telescope crowns, and bold custom shapes. Each block retains a traditional hat-block profile while extending the crown height to a full 8 inches.
Larger sizes are divided into interlocking sections for printing on standard-size 3D-printer beds. The split sections use alignment dovetails to help the completed block assemble securely and accurately.
